The service

Bookd lets you discover books, maintain a personal library, join book clubs, and post comments with spoiler controls. We may change features or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice when possible.

Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.

Your content & clubs

You keep ownership of content you post (reviews, comments, notes). You grant Bookd a license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the service — including showing club-visible comments to other members of the same club.

Do not post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content. Do not attempt to bypass spoiler controls to harm others' reading experience. Club owners and admins may manage membership and club settings within the app.

Book metadata

Book information may come from third parties (e.g. Open Library). We do not guarantee completeness or accuracy of metadata or cover art.

Acceptable use

• No scraping, spam, or automated abuse of the service.
• No reverse engineering to access non-public systems.
• No use that violates applicable law or others' rights.

Disclaimer

Bookd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (typically zero for a free service).

Termination

You may stop using Bookd at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required for security or legal reasons.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the new terms.
